Washingtoni magyar fiatalok szeretettel meghívnak Téged és Barátaidat
félévenkénti piknikjükre. Ételro”l, italról és zenéro”l
gondoskodunk. Ötleteidet és segítségedet örömmel várjuk a piknik
szervezéséhez (eniko.basa@verizon.net).
Ido”pont: 2008. május 17, szombat du. 2- tol sötétedésig.
Helyszín: Rock Creek Park, Washington, DC (metró a közelben)
A piknik ingyenes, de adóból levonható támogatásodat örömmel fogadjuk,
ajánlott támogatás: $5személy. A csekkeket az American Hungarian
Educators' Association névre kérjük kiállítani és a következo címre küldeni.

Kocsival:
A Beltway-tol haladj dél felé az MD 185-ös úton (Connecticut Ave) (a rampa
végén balkanyar)
Haladj dél felé, át a Chevy Chase Circle-n, és UDC és az Intellsat épület
után
Fordulj balra a Tilden Street-re
Fordulj jobbra a Linnean Ave (Spring of Freedom Street)-re, a park a
kanyarnál van, a magyar nagykövetség mellett;
Vagy menj a domb végéig es fordulj balra Shoemaker St. en, Tildenrol.
Lehet parkolni Tildenen es Shoemakeren is, ha nincs hely a parkoloban.
Metroval:
A Red Line metrovonal a Van Ness- UDC allomásig
Miutan kiszálltáll a Red Line Van Ness - UDC állomason, a liftek felvisznek
Connecticut Avenue-ra
Connecticut Ave-n haladj dél felé, a belváros felé (ha szemben allsz a Giant
szupermarkettel, akkor jobbra tarts, vagy az Intellsat es International
Drive irányába)
Van Ness Street-en túl kell menni Tilden Street-ig
Ott fordulj balra, innenen az elso utca jobbra a Spring of Freedom,
Itt jobbkanyar, majd lefelé az utcán, az alsó kanyarnál jobbra.Ott a park.
Az 1. számu piknikhely a kanyarnál lévo parkolotól jobbra van.
Vagy Tildenen a domb aljáig és jobbra Shoemaker-en.

It's party time!
Hungarian students and young professionals in the Washington, DC
Metropolitan Area cordially invite you and your friends to our semi-annual
picnic. Join us for an afternoon of fun, food and music. (if you would like
to play soccer, please, dress appropriately).
Games for children and Hungarian folk dancing.
Your ideas and support in organizing future events for the Hungarian
community would be appreciated.(eniko.basa@verizon.net)

Place: Rock Creek Park, Washington, DC (metro accessible, see directions
below)
The picnic is free but your tax-deductible contribution is welcome.
Suggested donations: $5 per person. Bring your donations to the picnic or
send a check in advance. Please make checks payable to AHEA (American
Hungarian Educators' Association) and send to:

Directions:
By Car:
Take the Connecticut Ave.exit (MD 185) south (this is the left turn at the
end of the ramp)
Continue south at Chevy Chase Circle to the area around UDC and Intellsat;
Turn left on Tilden St. (same as going to the Hungarian Embassy);
Turn right at LinneanAve (Spring of Feedom St.) or left at the foot of the
hill just before the park (Shoemaker St.);
There is a large lot for parking as well as on-street parking on both
Shoemaker and Spring of Freedom Streets. You will see a covered picnic
area-that is us.
Picnic area 1 is across the street from the Hungarian Embassy/Consulate.
With Metro:
Take the Red Line to Van Ness-DCU station;
The escalators will take you to Connecticut Ave.; go South, toward town or
in the direction of the Intellsat Building and International Dr.)
Go past Van Ness and turn left on Tilden Ave. The first intersection off
Tilden will be Spring of Freedom St., the second Shoemaker. Either will take
you to the park, where you will see a covered picnic area. |
